I hear the words passion and purpose being bandied about a lot. Being a coach, these are words that can often get thrown into a conversation quite whimsically. However, I believe they can carry a huge amount of weight and pressure and make you feel a bit sh*tty if you don’t have at least three to speak of.

My visit to Groobarb's Wild Farm
Just come back from such a brilliant afternoon put on my local veg box supplier Groobarb’s Wild Farm. They put on a free open event for all their customers to show off their amazing farm land and new barns, which they’re hoping to turn into a gorgeous supper club kitchen. Such a brilliant idea and amazing to be able to taste all that fresh produce cooked on site!
Appearances are deceiving
I’ve been noticing recently from friends or acquaintances that they’ve been saying to me “I love what you’re doing on social media, you seem so busy, how’s it going, you’ve done so well, it’s amazing what you’re doing”. And I am so grateful for the support and acknowledgement but this is where I have to clarify a few things and put myself out there.

**Emotional hygiene and spiritual health** This week I heard these phrases during a Dr Mark Hyman podcast and they really struck a chord. We look after our dental hygiene and ensure we wash everyday. We may often worry at the slightest feel of any lump under the surface of our skin or be concerned if we feel any joint or muscle pain. However, with our own emotional and spiritual health, we often suppress our feelings or niggles.
Conquering your fears
So people who know me well, know that I *could* be described as several, if not all of these words (and not really in any particular order):
neurotic
nervous
scared
worried
cautious
Friends have even joked that my ideal job should’ve been a health and safety officer!!
