Joining Kate this week is Nicola Harker, a doctor, women’s empowerment specialist and a trained teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion. Nicola coaches entrepreneurial-spirited women who are feeling frustrated with themselves or their circumstances. They're not making progress, struggling with fear or their inner critic, or spending too much time firefighting everyone else's problems. She helps them to master their inner landscape, develop a clear strategy and take courageous action. 

Hear about the events that lead to Nicola’s epiphany, realising that she just couldn’t do it all and in fact, she was harming herself by not taking the time to slow down and truly look after herself.

In times where we have little control over what happens in the wider world, Nicola and Kate discuss overcoming the need to fix the situations in house, accepting things as they are and just “being” right now, using this time to show ourselves some true self-compassion.

Ambitions manifest differently for everyone and in this podcast series, Kate will be hearing about the different journeys and challenges her guests have faced whilst balancing their career goals, family lives and the often-forgotten self-care.
